HAULLELUJAH!

MAC & SONYA DAKAR MINI HAUL!

Ok, so I had a bit of fun yesterday and this (up there) is what I got!

Top left: MAC Shadows
              Aquadisiac, Atlantic Blue, Pink Venus
              Texture, Swish, Rice Paper
-These are colors I've used before, and have decided to officially add to my collection

Bottom left: Sonya Dakar Samples
                  -Hydrasoft Lotion
                  -Omega -3 Repair Complex
-Pore Minimizer (minimizes pores but also works as a face primer!)

Right: MAC Fix+

I love this stuff!! Before or after makeup, and ESPECIALLY as a mixing medium. FOR ME, it works way better than water. And I like that I can get may uses out of the same product.

Photo Magic - Vanity Simms @ Ding Dong Lounge 3.6.12

My first photo shoot - I was the MUA. (and I use that term loosely, one day I'll really be able to hold the title...unlike some others) But anyway I digress. That's another blog entry for another day. The photo shoot was for my niece Jed "Vanity Simms" I think it turned out great! It was shot at Ding Dong lounge in NYC.

I know now what I can do better, what I need to change and what I excel at. So next time, if there's a next time....I'll be better prepared...

here are the pics! (Behind the scenes) Finished looks will be posted later.

Here are a few of the finished photos!

Pick Me Up - Leopard tears

Just felt like painting.... that's all......

Tough As nails - Tiffolicious

Tough As Nails: "Tiffolicious"

Random nail designs! Yes I do my own nails (most of the time). Who wants to pay $6 for a mani only for it to come falling apart the next day. I do them myself FOR FREE and if it chips I don;t feel so bad.

My @icanonlybetiffy inspired set, these color combinations always remind me of my friend Tiffany! Hey Girl #Boop

A yellow or marigold polish as a base, turquoise, gold and brown and you're set. Extremely simple!

Start off with your base coat. Then apply the yellow/gold polish to each nail, except for the ring fingers. Apply the turquoise only to the ring fingers. Dot the brown polish in random places and sizes on your ring finger, and repeat with an old gold polish directly on top of the brown dots. Set with a clear top coat and you're done!
